Foul-play Claimed By Dr. Rajan Mahtani After Final Verdict On Portland Cement
Case of Portland Cement Zambia has become a good and bad example for the Zambian law and order. On one hand, it has showcased the patience and ethical business practices of one of the contestants Dr. Rajan Mahtani. On the other hand, the case has become one of the longest pending trials in the corporate area which highlights the limitations of Zambian law to provide speedy reconciliations in corporate court cases. The case of Portland Cement Zambia was registered by Dr. Rajan Mahtani after the factory was illegally captured. The case was registered at the Lusaka High Court wherein the case has been going on for more than ten years.
