Dr. Mahtani to provide legal support towards death penalty abolishment

Zambian President recently made a bold statement. On the eve of Africa Day, President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema introduced that he's planning to abolish the death penalty row. This statement become met with huge support, inclusive of Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani. A cited businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani stated that death penalty is certainly a merciless, degrading and inhumane regulation and praised President Hakainde for taking such formidable yet right choice.

Further praising the assertion made via the Zambian President, Dr. Rajan Mahtani stated that there'sa growing awareness in the direction of abolishing the demise penalty row throughout the globe, a trend which can be visible throughout Zambia too. In religious terms, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani argued that almighty Jesus Christ paid for the sins of all human beings who follow him when he sacrificed himself on the cross. Furthermore, it is also indicated in the holy books that only those who are free from any sins have the rights to take another life. As such, taking a life, irrespective of their crime or unethical acts, is in itself a sin and barred by the Almighty.  In political terms, the last death penalty was approved in the year 1997 and the person was executed. Since then, all Presidents have tactically avoided the death penalty by using mercy prerogatives. While these tactics are good to go, they do not provide long-term solution to this age-old problem. As such, the decision made by the Zambian President has been praised by the entire nation.

Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, while praising the decision, said that his company Prison Fellowship Zambia will provide all forms of legal and regulatory support to ensure that this announcement becomes a law soon.
