Death Penalty Abolishment Is The Right Move, Says Dr. Rajan Mahtani.

Hakainde Hichilema, the president of Zambia, recently declared his intention to do away with the death penalty. Zambian businessman and philanthropist Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani offered his complete support for the choice. Despite being an outdated law, the death penalty has long been used as a means of mandating full-size support. To ensure that the death penalty sentence is removed from Zambian law books, this process will entail battling bureaucratic procedures, laid-off workplaces, and outdated governmental legal norms. In order to ensure that the choice becomes reality, Dr. Rajan Mahtani said his organization Prison Fellowship will offer all legal and regulatory assistance.

A well-known Christian outreach program called Prison Fellowship seeks to improve the basic human rights and dignity of Zambian prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. By imparting his wisdom and instructions, it also helps the convicts grow closer to the Almighty God. Furthermore, Prison Fellowship Zambia also seeks to provide blatantly unfair justice for all prisoners in Zambia. Therefore, this charitable organization founded by Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the best vehicle to guarantee that the Zambian President's decision about the death penalty is finally stopped. As a result, the Dr. Mahtani-owned Prison Fellowship Zambia will provide comprehensive legal and regulatory guidance to make sure the decision is rapidly implemented. Another reason for abolishing death penalty in Zambia is the recent initiative from the Zambian government that involves strategic decongestion of prisons after reports of the pathetic condition of some of the maximum prisons across Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani welcomed the President's decision while expressing his support for him, saying that only someone with a firm and steadfast position would be able to make such a choice.
