Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani Announces Support for Zambian President’s Decision.
Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman, philanthropist and charity worker from Zambia, has extended his full support towards the recent announcement made by the Zambian President. On the occasion of Africa Day which was celebrated on 25th May 2022, the President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema announced that he is planning to completely abolish the death penalty row from the Zambian legal system. This announcement received a significant positive response from businessmen and individuals alike. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, stepping a way forward, extended his full support towards the decision and also stated that his company Prison Fellowship Zambia will provide full legal and regulatory support towards this decision. Another philanthropic contribution from Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been the Stephen Malama award and Scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia. For his contributions towards the Zambian economy, people, and philanthropy, Forbes-FIN presented Dr. Mahtani with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year award 2021. Notably, Dr. Rajan Mahtani became also invited in this conference as an honorary speaker and discussed approximately the significance of management in healthcare.
